WOODVILLE RACES. CONCLUDING DAY’S RESULTS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Woodville, Last Night. The Woodville meeting concluded in showery weather. The attendance was good. The totalisator handled £19,646 against £32,613 last year, a decrease for the meeting of £24,568. Results:— HURDLES.—Wamba (R. Hunt) 1, Active 2, Opiate 3. All started. Wamba jumped out and was never headed. Active moved up at the entrance to the straight but was never dangerous. Time, 2min. s%sec. STEWARDS’ HANDlCAP.—Passionless (Ryder) 1, Mountain March 2, MocKery S. All started. Passionless and Mockery led from the barrier. Mountain March challenged at the distance and accounted for Mockery. NV'Hi by half a length, a short half length between second and third. Time, Imin. s%see. RAILWAY’ HANDICAP. —Birkie (L. George) I, Bonny Briar 2, Tommy Rot 3. Scratched: Tari, Tigrinia. Cleasanta. Time, Imin. 15 3-5 sec. Tommy Rot was in front at the five .furlongs post, then Birkie and Bonny Briar took charge. Won by a short half length. TELEGRAPH HANDICAP. —Doucement (C. Stephens) 1, Chant Royal 2, Correspondent 3. Scratched: Mountain Feer, Mockery, Bonetto, Conziska. Doucement drew an outside position, became established on the rails early, and stalled off a challenge from the fast finishing Chant Royal. Time, Imin. 2%sec. H. Goldfinch, rider of Chant Royal, was suspended for three months for interfering with KilGOTHARD HANDICAP.—Egmont Park (M. Conway) 1, Admiral Codrington 2, Molyneaux 3. Scratched: Askari. Time, Imin. 58 1-5 see. Egmont Park was prominent all the way and led into the straight, closely attended by Admiral Codrington, and in a great finish won by half a length, with Molyneaux, who was badly placed, rapidly overhauling two lengths away. JUVENILE HANDICAP.—Highland (R. S. Bagby) 1, Potoa King 2, Mountain Lion 3. Scratched: Wairarapa, Pillage. Time, Imin. 2 l-ssec. Mountain Lion led into the straignt but was headed by Highland, who won easily. The little fancied Potoa King got second :n the last few yards. RUAWHATA HANDlCAP.—Earthshine (G. Young) 1. Blissfulness 2, Voluble 3. Scratched : Chant Royal, Minsk. Earthshine and Voluble were prominent and led into lhe straight, where they were joined. by Mak?.re and Blissfulness. Earthshine came again and drew out and won by a length and a half. Time, Ipiin. 31sec. GORGE HANDICAP. —Detroit (G. Young) 1, Rose Wreath 2, Princess Pat 3. Scratched: Admiral Codrington. Ruatara showed the way for three-quarters of the distance. Sycorax led into the straight from Detroit and RoseWreath led at the distance from Detroit. Won by half a length. Time, Imin. 56 l-ssec.

OWNERS’ REMINDERS. Horse-owners and trainers are finally reminded that acceptances for all events at the Dannevirke R.C. summer meeting, to be held on Wednesday next, close to-night at 8 P-lti. As advertised in this issue, Mr. Arthur Way, secretary, will receive nominations for all events at the Marton J.C. summer meeting (January 2 and 3) up to 9 p.m. this (Friday) evening. The programme is a fine one, and should attract a good number <f Taranaki horses.
