PRESENT SEASON’S FIGURES. NOTABLE INCREASE. By Telegraph.—Press Association Wellington, Dec. 7. The Department of Agriculture reports that the butter graded for export during November was 150,514 cwt., compared with 96,806 cwt. a year ago, an increase of 55.48 per cent. The cheese graded totalled 172,500 cwt., compared with 187,093 cwt. a year ago, a decrease of 7.76 per cent. The totals for the four months of the present season are:— 1921. 1920. Inc. or dec. cwt. cwt. per cent. Butter 336,325 219,433 53.27 Cheese 314,176 359,510 12.01 Converting these figures into the but-ter-fat equivalent there is an increase of 24.9 per cent, butter-fat production for August, September, October and November over the corresponding month of 1920.
