LOW FLYING.

DANGER TO THE PUBLIC. By Telegraph—Press Association. Timaru, Last Night. In the Magistrate’s, Court to-day Mr. Mosley, S.M., gave his reserved decision in the aviation case, in which W. J. Buckley and P. K. Fowler, in the employ of the New Zealand Aero Transport Company, were charged with trick flying over Timaru, and also with flying at so low an altitude that a danger to the public was caused. The magistrate found that low flying constituted a very real danger to tfye public, and was a menace to public safety. He held defendants guilty, and each was fined 20s. As this was the first case in New Zealand the charge of trick flying was dismissed.
