BOMBAY RIOTS.

COURAGEOUS FIRE BRIGADE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Delhi, Nov. 26. During the recent Bombay riots the fire brigade dealt with 20 incendiary fires. They worked, courageously under heavy stoning from the rioters. Three Mohammedans were arrested at Bangalore on a charge of forcibly stopping a motor ’bus. A crowd followed them to the police station, jvhere 8000 made a demonstration. They became unmanageable, and the military were called out, and after ineffective warnings they fired, killing one and wounding five. The crowd dispersed, but later gathered again and became threatening. The police and military are now protecting the shops, which are closed.
