ANTI-HUGHES COALITION. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Melbourne, Nov. 22. Rumors are being circulated in Federal circles that a coalition is pending between the followers of Mr. Watt and the Country Party, with the view of displacing Mr. Hughes. A development is expected within ten days. SYDNEY DIVORCE CASE. Sydney, Nov. 21. Mr. Justice Gordon dismissed Mrs. Perrott’s petition for judicial separation on technical grounds. He said that if he wsy at liberty to show disapprobation and punish respondent for his former cruelty to his wife he would have no hesitation in so doing, but that conduct hrd ceased, and there was no chance of its repetition. In ordering respondent to pay costs he said that, although the facts in the case were not sufficient to entitle petitioner to a judicial separation on the ground of cruelty, they were such as to entitle her to successfully defend a suit for the restoration of conjugal rights if brought against her by her husband.
