CHARGE OF CATTLE STEALING. By Telegraph—Press Association. Cambridge, Nov. 19. Six charges of cattle stealing were preferred against Henry Albert Print, aged 29, at the Magistrate’s Court. The cattle stolen were valued at ,UlB4. Accused was committed for tria'l, bail being allowed in, two sureties of £2OO each. COAL FOUND IN DOBSON MINE. Greymouth, Nov. 19. Coal was struck in the Dobson mine today, at a depth of 91ft. The thickness has not been proved yet. A TUG IN TROUBLE. Dunedin, Nov, 19. The tug Dunedin had a desperate struggle in a fierce southerly gale last night, while trying to tow the schooner Branea from Delagoa Bay. The hawser twice fouled one propeller, and the Dunedin crawled into port at 7.30' this morning. ’ The schooner was blown off-shore, and has not appeared yet. CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER. * “ .l.enheim, Nov. 19. As the outcome of a collision between a motor ear and a gig on Spring Creek Road recently, in which Rose Staffordreceived injuries causing her death, John Emlyn Thomas, driver of the car, was charged this morning with manslaughter and remanded, till Friday, bail being allowed, self in £250, arid one surety of £250. i. . . .
