Due San Francisco to-day, thence loading at Pacific ports for New Zealand. CARGO OF BENZINE. Bringing a cargo of 500 tons of benzine and 40 tons of general, the liner Waiotapu, which left Wellington on Friday evening, arrived off the port on Saturday morning and was brought alongside by the harbormaster (Captain W. Waller). The vessel was drawing 17ft. 6in. forward and 24ft. aft, which Is a record depth for a liner entering the port. Berthing operations were completed shortly after noon. The vessel's principal dimensions are: Length 4G4ft., beam 58ft. 21n., gross registered tonnage 6035 tons. This is the second occasion on which the Walotapu has visited this port, the vessel having been here in July last. Captain Barlow has charge of the vessel, and with him are the following officers : Chief, Mr. Brisco ; second, Mr. McLeish ; third, Mr. Cave; chief engineer, Mr. Skinner: second, 'Mr. Richardson; third, Mr. McLeod; fourth, Mr. Mayo; fifth, Mr. Berryman; wireless operator, Mr. McWilliams: chief steward, Mr. James. Discharging operations were carried out throughout Saturday, and it is expected unloading will be completed to-day, after which the vessel will sail for Australian ports. RAMA’S DISCHARGE. The Rama, which had brought about 250 tons of cargo, completed discharge on Saturday and sailed early in the afternoon on the return to Wellington. She is scheduled to leave there to-day for the Chatham Islands. THE KAHIKA. The Kahika was due at Wellington yesterday from Bluff, Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru and Lyttelton, and was to sail to-day fur New Plymouth, taking cargo. KARORI’S MOVEMENTS. The Karorl is expected at Wellington about next Thursday from Newcastle, via Auckland and Napier, and therefore her arrival at New Plymouth will probably not be till the end of the week. NEW STE.AMER SERVICE. A cable from Sydney states that arrangements have been made by the Fijian authorities with the Canadian Government for a direct service between Fiji and Pacific coast ports. The Canadian Scottish, leaving Sydney in December, will Inaugurate the service. FLORA TO BE LAID UP. Advices from Auckland state that the steamer Flora, on discharging fruit from Rarotonga at Auckland, will lay up during November, having been run at a loss for the last few trips, owing to insufficient cargo. THE CANADIAN PIONEER. Saturday’s Wellington Times says: The steamer Canadian pioneer left Napier at 4.5 p.m. yesterday for Wellington in continuation of her voyage from Montreal. The vessel is due here this morning, and will put out 22,000 erases of benzine for this port, and 400 tons of general cargo for transhipment to the South Island. She will leave here at noon on Tuesday for New Plymouth and Australia. TAINUI FOR HOME. The Tainui, which arrived at Wellington on. Friday, will, upon completion of loading, sail at daybreak on Thursday next for Southampton and London, via Panama. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ARRIVED.
