FRANCE’S PACT WITH TUBKS. “BRISTLES WITH DANGER.” By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—CopyrigU Received Nov. 13, 5.5 p.m. - London, Nov. 12. The Spectator says once more there is a serious rift in the Entente. France’s action at Angora has seriously shaken the Versailles Treaty. While blaming Mr. Lloyd George for pinning his'faith to Constantine, the ( Spectator asserts the Versailles Treaty might as well be torn up if the Allies fail to act in unison. Received Nov. 13, 5.5 p.m. Paris, Nov. I*. The Government’s reply to Lord Curzon (British Foreign .Secretary) regarding the Angora memorandum will be delivered as soon aa M. Briand’s approval of the text is received. M. Emile Bure, ex-secretary to M. Briand in pre-war days, writing in the Eclair, asserts that the Angora agreement bristleS l with danger. He adds: “It is in France’s interest to maintain the Entente with Britain, and a c<niference should be convoked to clear clouds which are darkening the zon of two countries which saved civilisation.”
