METHODIST SYNOD. Napier, Last Night. Statistical returns presented t© the Methodist Synod of the Hawke’s Ray and Manawatu district, which is at present sitting here, showed that there were in the district 45 churches, 48 other preaching places, 2352 members, and 26,7i1l attending public worship. Sunday* School returns showed the number of school teachers as 249 and scholars 2838.
