ADMISSION BY PRISONER. By Telegraph-Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. William Kearney was to-day committed for trial for the alleged theit of 290 dozen Gilette razor blades from some person unknown. When accused and another were negotiating with a secondhand dealer for the sale of the blades, detectives arrived and arrested both. The managing director of the xnanufacturing company identified the blades as made by the firm. The accused refused to state where »they obtained the blades, but they said they were pillaged cargo, and were part of a consignment for a port outside New Zealand. They refused to give more information.
