SUPREME COURT.

PALMERSTON NORTH SESSIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerston N., Nov. 8. The Supreme Court was opened by HisHonor Mr. Justice Reed, who congratulated the district on the absence of crime, there being only two criminal cases, in both of which true bills were returned. His Honor was welcomed on his appointment to a Judgeship by Mr. Innes, president of the local Law Society.
