NEW PLYMOUTH SEASON CLOSED. PRESENTATION OF PRIZES. The official closing day on the Waiwakaiho links was held on Saturday. The weather was perfect, the fairway and greens in excellent order, and a most enjoyable afternoon’s golf resulted. A mixed foursome bogey mtach was played, the best, six scores being as under : Hutchings and Mrs. Perry, 1 up. . C. Mr Hill and Mrs. Hill, 1 down. B. Wilson and Miss Rollo, 2 down. J. Austin and Miss Rundle, 3* down. F. S. Johns and Miss Home, 4 down. T. V. Mackay and Miss Good, 5 down. During the afternoon the prizes won during the season by lads’ players were distributed as follows: Ladies’ championship trophy, donated by men’s committee, Miss Brewster; runner-up trophy, donated by men’s committee, Mrs. Johns. Brewster Cup: Miss Thomson. Ladies’ Golf Union silver medal: Mrs. Johns. Ladies’ Goif Union bronze medal: Miss Goldwater. Monthly medals, silver button trophies: Mrs. Butcher, Mrs. Johns, Miss Rollo, Miss Simpson, Miss Thomson (3). Winners of bogey matches: Miss Rundle's prize. Miss Stanford : Mrs. C. H. Weston’s prize. Mrs. R. Gray; Miss Stanford’s prize, Mrs. McDiarmid; Mrs. Wade’s prize, Mrs. McDiarmid. Winner of flag matches: Mrs. Butcher’s prize, Mrs. Johns.
