INDIAN UNREST.
RAIDS ON FRONTIER. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Delhi, Oct. 21. Two frontier villages in Waziristan were raided after long night marches of 14 and 22 miles. The operations were partially successful in securing suspects. Both villages were burned. The Ghurkas are reported to be making good progress. The rebels are active, but are generally avoiding action. Received Oct. 23, 5.5 p.m. Delhi, Oct. 21. A hundred Moplahs attacked a party of Ghurkas, who drove off the rebels, killing 45. In another action the Moplahs suffered severely.
