LADIES’ UNION. NEXT TOURNAMENT AT WANGANUI. At the annual meeting of tie New Zealand Ladies' Golf Union four clubs (Hamilton, Manawatu, Napier and Wanganui) offered their links for th 4 next meeting, the voting going i i favor of Wanganui. The date of the home links' coronation medal match was fixed for the week beginning on the second Monday in May. The resignations of Miss Rattray, as president, and Mis. Mellsop, as honorary secretary and treasurer, were received with expressions of regret; and officials for the ensuing year were elected as follow: President, Mrs. Mellsop; vice-presidents, Mrs. George Bloomfield (Auckland), Mrs. Johns (New Plymouth)., Mrs. Grace (Wanganui), Miss Bell (Wellington), Miss N. Jcffinston (Napier), Mrs. Robison (Nelson), Mrs. Wigram (Christchurch), Mrs. J. A. Cook (Dunedin), Mrs. Pottinger (Invercargill), Mrs. P. Kelly (honorary). Miss Greta Snow (Heretaungn), was appointed secretary and treasurer. NEW PLYMOUTH LADIES’ MATCH. The New Plymouth ladies played a foursome match on the club’s links yesterday, the following being the best scores: Mrs. Blackley and Mrs. C. If. Weston 92—31—61; Mrs. Hili and Mrs. Bu’’ke 95—29—56 ; Miss Simpson and Mrs. Christoffel 94—-27—67; Mrs. Quilliam and Miss Foote 91—21% —69% ; Mis's Rolfo and Misj Dawson 95—25% —69%. The closing matches of the season will be played on Tuesday, when the entrance fee for each event will be 6d.
