AUCKLAND EAST ELECTION.
TWO MORE CANDIDATES. SOLDIER IN LABOR INTERESTS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Mr. J. A. Lee, president of the Auckland Labor Party, was selected, by a ballot of unions affiliated to the representation committee as the Labor candidate for Auckland East. He is the holder of the D.C.M. and lost an arm at Messines. Mr. G. H. Foster announces his candidature as a straight-out Independent.
