The Chinese Bankers’ Association has issued a manifesto supporting the official attitude of China in regard to Shantung, and suggesting certain policies to the Chinese delegation to the armament conference, the principal ones being; That the integrity of Chinese territory must be recognised; preferential rights to foreigners should not be extended, China to accept the open door policy only under certain conditions; foreign loans to be favorably received, provided they do not interfere with Chinese financial and economic de-velopments.—Aus.-N.Z.
