OLD GIRLS’ MART.

HIGH SCHOOL PUPILS’ STALLS. Tha* the present High School girls are greatly interested in the proposed new boarding-house is seen by the fact that they are responsible for three stalls at the Old Girls’ Mart to-morrow. On the fancy work stall a great variety of pretty and useful articles will be displayed. Cushions large and small, bags, d’oyleys, handkerchiefs, needle-books, boudoir caps, knitted garments, necklaces and trinkets will delight many who are looking for acceptable presents, while kettle-holders, peg-bags, dusters, and oven-cloths will appeal to the housewife.

The dolls’ stall bids fair to be quite as successful as last year, and little ladies who then visited this stall will need no second invitation. Dolls of various kinds, from silk robed beauties to black Dinahs, are waiting for owners. As before, there are „numbers of dolls’ garments, including underclothing, woolly sets, dresses and coats. Those who want to fit out their dollies anew for the spring season are advised to bring them along to have the garments tried on. Millinery in the latest and most

attractive styles will delight the hearts of many little customers. A new feature this year will be the dollies’ household section, where house linen, oedding and furnishings may be replenished at very cheap prices. A doljxlressing and doll’s clothing competition has been arranged in connection with this stall, open to all school children. The prize winning entries will be on view in Hannah’s window' to-day and to-morrow morning, and will be sold at the dolls’ stalls in the afternoon. Entries have been received from various country ..and town schools. A Lucky Dip, always most popular with children, is in charge of two very new Old Girls, who will appear in fancy costume.
