EVERYBODY’S. SESSUE HAYAKAWA TO-NIGHT. Many interesting and colorful scenes of the Orient as well as the Occident, will be seen in “Li Ting Lang,” a Robertson-Cole special wit. Sessile Hayakawa, the noted Japanese actor, in the stellar role, at Everybody’s. In the picture Hayakawa plays the roll of an Americanised Chinese who is familiarly known to his college chums as “Old Ting-a-Ling.” This latest vehicle -for the Nipponese star is a tremendous drama full of heart interest and appeal. Doris Pawn has the leading woman’s role as Marian Halstead with whom Hayakawa falls in love. The 'bill includes gazettes, travel, and comedy films. The matinee to-morrow commences at 2 pm. THE PEOPLE S. LAST NIGHT OF “MARRIAGE OF WM. ASHE.” To-night May Allison appears finally at the People’s in her latest . Metro special production “The Marriage of Wm. Ashe,” being the graphic picturisation of Mrs. Humphrey-Ward’s famous novel. The bill includes gazettes, comedy, and “The Diamond Queen.” Tomorrow’s change commencing at the matinee at 2 p.m. presents Elaine Hammerstein in her latest Selznick production “Poor Dear Margaret Kirby.” The bill includes two-reel comedy, Flynn drama, and gazettes. THE EMPIRE. GRACE DARMOND IN “THE BEAUTIFUL GAMBLER.” A rushing dranja of life and love on the flaming border of Canada and Alaska is “The Beautiful Gambler,” a Universal special attraction, featuring beautiful Grace Darmond. The picture is beautifully set in the Canadian North- . land, and the theme exerts a grip which has seldom been equalled in this class of picture production. The bill includes another popular “Brownie” comedy, and gazettes. Seats may 'be reserved at Collier's.
