CRICKET.

AUSTRALIANS LEAVING. A TRIBUTE FROM WARNER. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Sept. 25. Mr. P. F. Warner, in the Morning Post, says the Australians are leaving England in a few days. Cricketers will say good-bye regretfully, because the Australians are not only skilful in the playing fields, but a charming lot of men who were popular wherever they went. * Armstrong has undoubtedly played his last test. We congratulate him on his long and splendid career. He has been a great cricketer and a great personality. His pleasant smile and happy figure will be missed from every English cricket ground.
