POLICE COURT CASES.

AN AUCKLAND BATCH, By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At the Police' Court, a youth pleaded not guilty and was committed, for trial G7i charges of theft of money totalling £229 7s 4d from the Victoria Loan Company, by whom he wae employed. In a statement to the police, accused said the deficiency, so far as he was concerned, was not more than £9O. All the money taken had been used to Reep his mother and sister. The Magistrate ordered that the name of accused should not be published. Delia Pine, charged with the theft of £393 from a person, pleaded not guilty and was committed for trial. Accused, one of the unfortunate class, was visited by complainant, who discovered the loss after leaving. Martin Patterson, charged with an alleged indecent assault on a youth, pleaded not guilty, and was committed for trial.
