FRENCH HARVEST.
RECORD YIELD EXPECTED.
NO NEED TO IMPORT.
By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received September 5, 5.5 p.m. Paris, Sept. 5.
Despite the drought, and the fact that over two million acres in the wardevastated area have not been cultivated, the French grain harvest is expected to be the biggest since 1914, the yield per acre constituting a record. It is believed that, owing to improved husbandry, France will not require to import wheat in 1922. Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
