CONSPIRACY BY SIKHS. TO OVERTHROW GOVERNMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received September 1, 9.50 pan. Delhi, Sept. 1. Ponani is isolated, but has reported all well. The Moplahs are forbidden to travel by train, unless provided with a pass. The inhabitants of Calicut are forbidden to harbor Moplahs from other districts. A Sikh conspiracy to overthrow the Government and assassinate officials has been discovered.
THE MOPLAH REBELLION.
DELIBERATELY PLANNED.

Evidence shows that the Moplah rebellion was deliberately planned. The rebels are lining modern arms and bombs. Heavy fighting is expected near Tirurangidi, where 5000 Moplahs are entrenched round a mosque. The military are concentrating on the position. There in another concentration of rebels near Paraparangodi. The telegraph lines have been cut.
