DR. GILRUTH.

A MISLEADING STATEMENT.

By Talegraph —Press Association. Wellington. August 31. A Press Association cable appeared under the heading of Melbourne, mentioning incidentally that Dr. Gilruth, whe had been relieved from duty following the recent troubles in the Northern Ter? ritory, had entered a claim for comW pensation against the Federal Government.

This information was copied from a Sydney paper, but Dr. Gilruth* solicitors have written denying that he was relieved, and asking for a correction. The Association has to express its regret that the information as published was misleading.
