A WEST COAST TIMBER COMPANY. Hokitika. August 29. Arising out of recent, litigation in Clirietchurch in connection with the Great Western Timber Company. Mr. H. Gladstone Hill is initiating further legal proceedings here against thq, promoter.: of the company, alleging fraud and misrepresentation in regard to the original applications for the titles of sawmilling areas at Okarito, under which the comi pany was to be organised. The claim for’damages will be a very -übstantia! i figure. A strong Bar from Hokitika ; Christchurch, and Wellington has been [retained for the plaintiff Hill.
