CONVICTIONS AT AUCKLAND. By Telegravh. —Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At the Police Court to-day John Weston was fined £lOO for having kept a common gaming house known as the Waverley Club. Edward Williams was also charged similarly, but the informaton was amended to assisting, and he was fined £5O. Frederick Lovelock was fined £l5 on a charge of betting at totalisator odds and publishing double charts on the Canterbury Jockey Club recent meeting. The offence was committed in an hotel bar.
