Massey, replying to a Bristol deputation, paid a tribute to Bristol’s forward dock policy, especially in the direction of catering for the Dominions’ trade, and he said he proposed advising direct sailings for Bristol. New Zealand’s fruit exports were sure to expand, and he anticipated she would become the Empire’s dairy fam.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
