ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A FIREMAN KILLED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Oamaru, August 18. Arthur Patrick, fireman on the Kurow-Oamaru train, was killed this morning. Just before arriving at Duntroon the engine jumped the rails, owing to a stone on a level crossing, and partly overturned. Patrick leaped off, but was jammed by the tender and died instantaneously.
