THE ANNUAL REPORT. The ninth l annual report and balance sheet of the Kahui Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., states: “In presenting the balance sheet the directors place , before the shareholders the following particulars: Milk received, 2,796,636 'lbs; butter-fat, 108,919,5 lbs; average test, 3.894 per eent.; cheese made 275,942 lbs; weight of cheese to lb of butter-fat, 2.533 lbs; weight of milk to lb of cheese, 10.134 lbs; butter made, 14,618 lbs. The advances made on milk during the season averaged 2s per lb of butter-fat, and after paying working and other expenses there was a balance available of £4,078 16s lid, equal to a further 9d per lb on butter-fat, or a total of 2s 9d. Of this balance your directors have allocated £ll6 Ils 2d to depreciation, being 5 per cent, on buildings and 7y a per cent, on plant. The balance after payment of 5 per cent, on paid up capital will allow further payments for milk of B%d per lb of butter-fat. The satisfactory results shown are due to the fact that the directors decided to sell the oq/tput.
