Yarrow's have decided to close down shipbuilding on the Clyde on November 30, owing to the ship-joiners’ and other strikes causing a reduction of output. The costs entailed by disputes is excessive, and they declare they will reopen only when conditions enable business to be conducted with some chance of success.
