TREATIES WITH CENTRAL POWERS By Telegraph.—Press Assn Copyright. Received August 14, 41.5 p.m. Washington. August 13. It s reported that the United States is negotiating separate peace treaties with Germany and Austria-Hungary, the latter differing from the former. The German treaty will be based on certain provisions of the Versailles Treaty, while the Austro-Hungarian treaty will oe drawn up more like an agreement of amity and commerce.—-Aus.-N.Z. Cable
