A meeting of all interested in the preservation of Paritutu will be held in the Soldiers’ Club to-night at S p.m. At Stony River sale on Tuesday next there will be a full yarding of store and dairy cattle; also hheep. See sale advertisement. .Note time sale commences. A special sale of high-class 3-year Jersey dairy heifers will be conducted at the Waverley yards on Monday, August 1, by the Farmers’ Co-op. The heifers will be offered on account of Mr. W. H. Watkins and Mr. D. Walker, and the quality of the draft is shown in The details in the advertisement in this issue. Some particularly smart new blouses are being shown by the Melbourne Jjtd., principally in good quality Japanese silk, crepe de chine and georgette. Styles are quite different from anything hitherto shown, whilst the make, fitting, shape and set-in of sleeves is far in advance of anything previously sold. Prices are moderate as usual.
