Befoie tlm committee of the League of Nations set up to consider reduction of armaments, Mr. Fisher (Britain) stated that Britain had suffered too much from foolish rivalry in naval armaments not to have a sincere desire to reach a prompt and definite settlement on the question, but naval disarmament was technically different from disarmament on land.
