All three boys wore -severely injured and were sent to hospital. Donald Gordon, aged 11, received a fracture of the skull, his brother Cyril, aged 12, a fracture of the right arm and I leg, and Charles Jolly, aged 10, has his right arm broken in two places. LADY KILLED BY MOTOR. Wellington, July 18. A fatality occurred Saturday evening on Adelaide Road, involving the death of Mrs. Rebecca Messenger. Deceased, who was crossing the street, was knocked down by a motor-car. Assistance was at once rendered, but the (id lady, who suffered very severe injuries, died on the way to hospital. At the inquest regarding the death of Mrs. Rebecca Messenger, who was knocked down by a motor-car on Saturday evening, the verdict was that death was due to shock following injuries received through being accidentally knocked down by a motor-car driven by Stanley Mercer Stone. FATAL MOTOR ACCIDENT. Gisborne, July 18. Eugene Doherty, aged 16, who was run over by a motor-car on the Patutahi Road, a week ago, has died in the hospital from injuries.
