EMPIRE PROBLEMS.
DIVISION OF REPARATIONS. EMIGRATION SCHEME. By Telegraph.— Press Assn.— Copyright. London, July 7. The Allied conferences at Spa, Paris, and London decided that the amount of German reparation money coming to the British Fmpire should be 22$ per cent, of the total available. The Premiers’ Conference is now discussing the quota to be received by each Dominion. The conference has adjourned. The Emigration Committee reported' favorably on the Government proposals. Australia and New Zealand are willing to co-operate with the British Government in the matter of assisted passages,^also in financing land settlers. Canada is passively acquiescent, while South Africa is standing ofit and not encouraging immigrants without capital.
