ANOTHER CASTLE BURNED. AN AMBUSH FAILS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.— Copyright. London, July 7. Lord Muskerry’s residence, Springfield Castle, was burned by an armed force. An official Dublin mewaro states that it is alleged that on July 4 Crown forces hauled down and seized the American flag from the residence of the United States Consul. If, o« investigation, the offenders are discovered to be Crown employees suitable punishment will be forthcoming. Twenty Sinn Feiners, with machineguns, attempted to ambush a party of special police in Donegal. The police opened fire, killing three Sinn Feiners.
