Though the marine engineer’s execi*tive has signed the nevy wage agreement with the Shipping Board, accepting a fifteen per cent wage reduction and the elimination of overtime until 1922, the marine strike is still unsettled. Various local unions are voting on the executive’s action. There are indications that a split is likely to occur again. Private ship-owners refuse to sign any agreement ensuring a definite wage for aqy period.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. MEN RESUMING WORK. New York, June 14. The marine engineers voted to uphold the agreement cabled to-day. They are returning to the Shipping Board vessels. Reports from other ports state that the men are returning there.
