ALLEGED “RING” CASE.
FINDING OF THE JURY. By Tvlegr&ph.—Press Association. Wellington, June 3. In the case in which A. R. Hislop Ltd., of Wellington, claimed £597 damages from the Addington Iron-rolling Mills, Ltd., Christchurch, the jury, after four and a half hours’ retirement, returned a verdict for £3O general damages in favor of plaintiffs. Judgment was entered for plaintiffs for £63 8s lOd, including £33 8s lOd special damages. On the counter-claim by defendants for goods sold and delivered, judgment was entered in their favor for £l9O 12s 3d and .court fees £7 7s 4d. The foreman of the jury, in announcing the verdict, asked whether it came within the provisions of the court to order an investigation into the operations of the alleged “iron ring.” His Honor said the Court had no jurisdic-
