CONVERSION OF WAR BONDS. Bf Telegrapli.—Press Asap,.—Cojpyriabc. , London, June 1. Mr. Hilton Young state's that approximately 148 millions of national war bonds have been converted into 3’/ 2 per, cents. The Financial Times says the failurtb of a substantial proportion of the holders to convert must embarrass the conutry’s finances and load the Budgets with provision for compulsory debt redemption for years ahead.
