SENATE PASSES BILL. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Washington, June 1. The Senate passed the Naval Appropriation Bill of 500 million dollars, including the Borah amendment, after defeating " economy proposals reducing the personnel. The Bill now returns to the House, which must pass on to “the Senate amendments raising the House’s figures by 10d million and fixing the naval strength at 20,000 above the personnel of 100,000 which the House voted.
