ENGINE DRIVI® KILLED. By’ Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, May 30. A railway engine, while passing over a turntable ran into the pit and fell on its side. George Percy Wallace, driver, a married man, was severely scalded and died this morning. The fireman. W. C. M‘Millan, escaped jwyA BUGGY FATALITY, Dunedin, May 30. Allan Roy McDonald, stationmaster at Beaumont, was killrid in a buggy accident on Saturday. He was driving with a farmer, John Cowan, from Rae Junction, when the horse tripped and both were thrown out. Deceased fractured his skull. He. was 34 years old and had a wife and three children. WOMAN’S SUDDEN DEATH. Hastings, May 30. Airs. Thomas Styles, wife of the ex-Deputy-Ala y or, died suddenly during the night. She complained of illness after retiring and her husband attended to her. Waking at G a.m. he found his wife lying dead alongside him.
