The President of the Arbitration Court is calling a compulsory conference of the Australian AVorkers’ Union and the mining companies in June, in an effort to settle the Mt. Lyell dispute. TRADE UNION CONVENTION. May 29. A trade union convention is being held in Melbourne in -June to consider the formation of a grand council togovern all industrial matters in Australia:
