AERIAL MAIL SERVICE.

An aerial mail service will be commenced between Geraldton and Derby, on the north-west coast of Western Australia, a distance of 1195 miles, in six stages. The service will be fortnightly, and all pilots and mechanics will be required to join the Air Force. This will provide a continuous patrol. The Government offers a subsidy of £25,000. —Aus.-N.Z. SEAMEN ACCEPT OFFER.

The Victorian Seamen’s Union has decided jo accept the ship-owners’ offer of a ten shillings increase in wages. As Adelaide and Sydney, which, with Melbourne, represent the majority of the union, have accepted the offer the new terms may be regarded as officially accepted.
