THE WORKERS’ BONUS.

BEFORE ARBITRATION COURT. NO DECISION MADE YET. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Before the Arbitration Court to-day, Mr. Read, appearing on behalf of several unions, said he presumed the Court would hear applications for a bonus. Mr. Justice Fraser (President of the Court), said the position was a little bit indefinite. The present bonus question was one of the matters the Court was working on. They had to consider quite a number of things, and they were having a somewhat difficult task doing it. He hoped to make a definite announcement in the course of the next few days, but he did not know whether the Court would be able to deal with applications before he went to Napier in about a fortnight, but in any ease he would be back in Wellington a week after that.
