NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB
A medal match was played on the New Plymouth Club’s links yesterday, G. M. Chong and TV. H. Broome tieing for first place. Chong’s card was SO—l—79, and Broome returned 91—12—79.
KIRKWOOD AND EAST.
London, May 3. J. H. Kirkwood and J. V. East, the Australians, are going to St. Andrew’s on Tuesday. They will remain there for several days and will then go to Liverpool for the final of the professional golfers’ tournament on Maj- 11 and 12. It is hoped to arrange a match with Havers, the tVest Lancashire professionr.l, and thereafter the pair will go to London, en route to compete in the Oxley tournament, returning immediately to St. Andrew’s until tbe open championship (meeting commences.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
