CHRISTCHURCH STILL INCOMPLETE
By Telegraph.—Press Association. ■Christchurch, Last Night. <Tho municipal elections second count finished to-night, and resulted in the election of H. T. Armstrong (Labor) and H. F. Erbert (Independent). The result of the poll so far gives the following state -of parties; Citizens’ candidates, three; Labor, three; Independent, two. Counting will be continued to-morrow. There are still eight candidates to be elected to complete the council.

Mayoralty: J. J. Holtham, 315; J. A. M’Kenna, 257. Council: C. R. Honeyfield, 413; F, W. Grainger, 411; P. S. Finlayson, 407; Wm. Watson, 393; F. Naismith, 389; J. Hore, 368; G. Williams, 366; A. Dunkley. 356; F. W. Godfrey, 333; D. Jones, 239: J. Gunn, 188; W. Menhennett, 17'5. The first nine were elected.
