AMERICA AND SIBERIA.

MISSION TO SEE CONDITIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received April 21, 8.10 p.m. Washington, April 20. It is officially stated that an American mission, headed by the commercial attache at the American Embassy in Tokio, will shortly be sent to Chita for the purpose of seeing the conditions there. It is not determined whether the mission will have a military member. Its despatch ia in response to Chita’s recent request for American recognition, and it is felt that the United States will probably formulate a policy towards Siberia which will be markedly distinguished from its known Russian pol-icy.—Aus.-NJZ.
