STRANGE CASE OF MRS. FARR. NEW ZEALAND PROFESSOR’S WIFE, By Telegraph.—Press Assu.—Copyright. Received April 19, 10.10 p.m. Sydney, April 19. The Farr case has been resumed. Mrs. Fsrr was present and stated she was not insane. The object of her incarceration in an asylum was to obtain possession of her money. Dr. Thompson gave evidence that in his opinion she was eminently sane. The case was adjourned till to-morrow.—Aus.-N.Z Cable Assn. [Following upon an order obtained ex parte by Dr. G.. Thompson from the Judge in lunacy relating to the detention in the Gladesville Mental Hospital of Claude Fan’, wife of Professor Farr, of Christchurch, several alienists attended the Lunacy Court, but Mrs. Farr was too unwell to attend. Counsel for Professor Farr stated that the latter was anxious that the fullest inquiry should be made into his wife’s mental condition. The Judge directed that she be examined medically by four doctors, the oral examination being fixed for April 19.] / \
