MEETING DEPRECIATED EXCHANGE
By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. Received April 14, 7 30 p.m. Washington, April 13. The Republican leaders have decided to merge the Emergency Tariff Bill and the Anti-Dumping Bill, including a Bill prohibiting recognition of more than B 6 2-3 per cent, depreciation on foreign currency in terms of dollars for import value appraisals. Thus German, Austrian and other low currencies would have their value increased for tariff valuation purposes.—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.
