KRASSINS VIEWS. By Telegraph.—Press Amu—Copyright London, April 13. Krassin, interviewed regarding the >ossibilities of trade between Russia and Australia, said that Russia was desirous >f trading with Australia and New Zea|Eind as well as with other Dominions, as >ll were included in the Anglo-Rdsaian Igreement on trade. Russia would like Jo buy metals, meat, wool and coal, provided freight did not make the price prohibitive. For coal and metals Russia jvould pay in cash, but for the other commodities she would require credit Jot two to three years, perhaps longer, gome countries supplying Russia were jiving four to five years’ credit. Russia’s immediate requirements in coal were two >r three million tons for Petrograd and Odessa. Possible Russian exports to Australasia frere soft woods, suitable for butterfoxes, crude oil, benzine, kerosene, lubricating oils, asbestos and furs. Regarding ports of shipment he thought it possible to send direct to Vla|iuostock.
