CONTROL OF EDUCATION. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, April 11. Mr. Oaughley, Director of Education in New Zealand, stated that education was more liberally provided for in New Zealand than in Australia, but he was greatly impressed with the direct control of all educational agencies in New South Wales, where the system was far more economical in ilmost every section than that of New Zealand. The salaries of New Zealand teachers were somewhat higher than in New South Wales,
